Technology at the service of the human being, strong point of Laneko Industries

History

Laneko is the continuation of the company Piezas Forjadas S.A., which was established in Pamplona in 1955. Needing a new facility, it moved to Uharte-Arakil in 1959. In 1980 the workers decided to back a new philosophy of business organization and formed Industrias Laneko, S.A.L. Since then, the company has worked as a worker-owned limited company (Sociedad Anónima Laboral). This legal form is based on each worker’s sense of belonging to Laneko and is the one with which the company best identifies.

In 1990 the semi-trailers and boilermaking division moved to Sargaiz industrial estate, occupying a facility covering 5,000m2 on a 45,000m2 plot of land. The old factory was dedicated exclusively to fasteners.

10 years later, the fasteners division also moved to the new site, the company taking the opportunity to expand the surface area occupied by its three divisions. It unified its offices and brought in new, more modern plant for production.

The company expanded again in 2008 to cover 19,000 constructed square metres, adapting the facility to the new reality with significant R&D projects and renewing its production plant and storage resources.

We now have over 63 years of experience and are present on every continent in the world.
